Trapped is a Spring 2011 Kids’ Indie Next List pick!
All right, I know I said I’d stop constantly pimping my new book and get back to posting dumb, random things, but A) I can do both (For example, Wipeout and American Idol were on opposite each other last night, and I was thinking, Is this an example of why I should get DVR? Or why I absolutely should not?) and B) I am really excited about this one. I have been a fan of indie bookstores from the get-go, from mornings spent flipping through Asterix & Obelix at the late, lamented Lion’s Head Books in Salisbury to the many weekend trips to Oblong Books in Millerton. Anyway, here’s the full list (it’s amazing). And if you haven’t been to your local indie lately, I think it’s about time for a trip!

Hooray, Michael!
Thanks, Courtney!
Very cool! Sounds like your book is getting grand reviews! By the way, I saw a copy of your book in my local independent bookstore, the Book Revue in Huntington. Nice looking book cover, by the way!
Thanks, Maria! Yes, the cover is amazing—and a pretty accurate depiction of this winter!
