All right, so this was totally inadvertent: a glitch in the software, an unfortunate consequence of one of hundreds of possible poses. What happened is, well, who remembers the “man on the Camel package”? In any case, I could wait timidly for the world to discover this scandalous manifestation or I could confront the problem directly—in verse!

I made a cartoon of my friend Melissa Walker, author of the excellent Violet on the Runway series about teen model Violet Greenfield. She didn’t ask me to. I simply cannot think of a pun without feeling the need to find some way to use it. It’s like a clinical condition. Someday, I will end up writing an entire book just to use some elaborate pun or other. In the meantime, here’s this:

I like these Bitstrips cartoons. I did a few about a year ago and then got distracted by actual work. I stumbled across the site again today and made a new one. It answers the timeless question: Where do dirty limericks come from?
